The Weight of A Mass: A Tale of Faith

Written by

This book is a beautiful work of art. It is a simple and curious way to teach our young ones the importance of the Holy Mass.

A poor widow begs for a piece of stale bread from a rich baker who isn´t particularly Catholic. The poor widow promises to offer the king´s wedding Mass as payment for the piece of bread. The baker, not very convinced of the value of the Mass, writes on a piece of paper “One Mass” and puts it on the scale to test how much bread it is worth. The surprise is that not even the wedding cakes prepared for the king´s wedding outweighed the little piece of paper, representing the true worth of the Mass.

The book is illustrated with old-world watercolor paintings. A beautiful treasure to have in the house!
